TEHRAN – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi on Thursday strongly condemned the Saudi-led coalition’s latest assault on the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah.

The spokesman also expressed concern about the worsening humanitarian condition in the impoverished Yemen, the official website of the Foreign Ministry reported.

Tehran has always emphasized that there is no military solution to the Yemeni crisis, Qassemi said, adding that the aggressors must end their assaults.

“Such crimes will shatter the hopes for political endeavors and will add to the complexity of the situation,” he added.
